Actor-director Jason Priestley has revealed he is the latest Beverly Hills 90210 alumnus to become a parent-to-be. The 37-year-old heart-throb confirmed that he and his wife of almost two years, make-up artist Naomi Lowde-Priestley, are expecting their first child this summer.

The baby news, which he proudly announced on his website, comes as former castmate Tori Spelling prepares to welcome her son in April. Tori celebrated her imminent motherhood with a blue-themed baby shower for 50 guests at the weekend - attended by another 90210 star Jennie Garth.

"I've loved being pregnant, but I'm ready to give birth," laughed Tori. "I can't wait to be a mom and hold this little baby in my arms." Equally excited is her Canadian husband Dean McDermott. "We can't wait to meet the little man," he says. "We feel him kicking all the time and we're so eager to finally see him."

Vancouver-born Jason has remained close to both Tori and Jennie, as well as Ian Ziering and Tiffani Thiessen, all of whom attended his romantic May 2005 wedding on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
