Pam enjoys the single life in Malibu

Pamela Anderson has been embracing her single status as she heads back to work on her new TV show Malibu, by the same producers of her breakthrough show Baywatch. The blonde bombshell and mum-of-two has apparently found a good work-life balance and is in no hurry to have a man back in her life. "I can't say no to the guys from Baywatch, they are great to my kids," she writes on her website. "My schedule is built around theirs, just a few days a week.".

The newly single star has been devoting time to her family of late after splitting with Kid Rock on February 1. And despite reports that she was rekindling her romance with first husband Tommy Lee - the father of the couple's sons Brandon, ten, and Dylan, eight - she insists she prefers the single life. "I've tried to remarry, move on," she explains. "Like any other single mom, I've tried to create a healthy example for my kids always. That's why I realised early on that we are better off on our own right now."

While Malibu might be her new workplace, it is also the perfect spot for some beach-style retail therapy as Pamela proved on Tuesday afternoon. The 39-year-old actress spent time browsing through the racks at trendy Malibu swimwear boutique Clout with her mum Carol. And her mother isn't the only one Pam has been spending quality time with recently. She's also been doting over the newest addition of the family - a golden retriever puppy called Jo-Jo.

Pick up a copy of Issue 30 of HELLO! magazine on Canadian newsstands from Thursday, March 29 to see inside her charming Malibu home.
