Brave Amanda returns to the spotlight following tragic baby loss

Just last week she revealed starring in the musical version of Shrek had helped her smile again following the tragic loss of her baby.And Amanda Holden's smile was there for all to see as she made her first public appearance following a miscarriage six weeks ago.

Attending the Olivier Awards, the Britain's Got Talent judge looked gorgeous in an asymmetric Ralph & Russo gown. She was on presenting duty, giving out the Best Actor In A Musical award.Posting on her Twitter account after the ceremony, she said: "Had a lovely welcome on stage at Olivier Awards Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Hope it's the first of many. "Amanda was joined at the event by her Shrek co-stars, Richard Blackwood – who plays Donkey - Nigel Lindsay, who portrays Shrek, and Nigel Harman - aka Lord Farquaad.

Stars celebrating at the event – theatre's biggest night of the year – included Legally Blonde actress Sheridan Smith. Sheridan, who brought along her dad Colin, won the Best Actress In A Musical Gong for her role as Elle Woods. And her co-star Jill Halfpenny was named Best Supporting Actress. Queen member Brian May looked thrilled to be awarded the Audience Award for We Will Rock You. And amongst new faces at the awards was Gary Lineker's wife Danielle. The brunette beauty recently made her stage debut in Calendar Girls.
