Amanda Holden has weighed in on the separation between Tess Daly and Vernon Kay after the couple announced they were going their separate ways following 22 years of marriage earlier this month.
The pair, who shared the news on 8 May, made their first public appearance together at Pub in the Park over the weekend.
According to reports by The Sun, Tess, 57, and Vernon, 52, appeared in high spirits as they soaked up the atmosphere, enjoying food and drinks while mingling with actor Will Mellor and dancing to music from Craig David at the Marlow-based food festival.
The outing of the former Strictly Come Dancing host and BBC Radio 2 presenter was referenced on Heart Radio on Monday morning, when Ashley Roberts shared details about her time at the same festival.

"Nice to see Vernon and Tess Daly there together," said host Jamie Theakston, to which Amanda – who is believed to be a close friend of the couple after years in showbusiness together – praised the pair for the way they have handled their public split.
"I think it's the most amicable separation ever," said Amanda. "They're friends and they're showing everybody how it's done I love them both."
Tess and Vernon share two daughters, Phoebe, 21, and Amber, 16, and reiterated in their joint statement that they would remain "fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority" in their joint statement.
Vernon breaks his silence
On Monday 11 May, Vernon broke his silence for the first time on his Radio 2 morning show, taking a moment to thank fans for their messages of support.
"I just want to say on behalf of me and Tess, thank you for all your well wishes, it has been greatly, greatly appreciated," he said on air.

Tess and Vernon took to Instagram to share the news of their amicable separation.
The post read: "After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably. This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us.
"We remain great friends and more importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority."
They added: "There are no other parties involved in this decision. We kindly ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this transition together. We will not be making any further public comments. Tess and Vernon."
