Birthday fun for new mum Myleene Klass as she enjoys first outing with baby Hero

07 APRIL 2011

Myleene Klass found a very special way to celebrate her 33rd birthday.

On Wednesday, the new mummy was spotted leaving her house for the first time since giving birth on March 25.

And accompanying her on her outing were her two girls, Ava, three, and two-week-old Hero.

Looking glamorous in a long black maxi dress, floppy hat and sunglasses, Myleene looked blissfully happy as she strolled along the streets of London, cradling her baby in one arm while holding Ava's hand.

She was recently voted the UK's top celebrity mum in a survey of 1,400 women conducted by Lansinoh, a company dedicated to promoting breastfeeding, beating four other famous mothers – Gisele Bundchen, Denise Van Outen, Charlotte Church and Katie Price – to take the title.

Wrapped in a multi-coloured blanket from the presenter's Mothercare range, tiny Hero seemed to sleep soundly as her big sister, Myleene and a friend indulged in a little retail therapy.

It is the second time we have seen the baby girl – she made her public debut via Twitter at the end of last week.

Myleene marked the outing by writing: "Today I'm the same age as Jesus and to mark it, I'm going to change out of my PJs and FINALLY leave the house!"

Across the pond, another birthday mum was out and about with her little one.

How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan enjoyed a day out with her daughter, Satyana, and husband of eight years, Alexis Denisof.

Last week, the actress celebrated her 37th birthday – March 24 – coincidentally on the same day that her adorable daughter turned two.

The happy trio spent the day stocking up on fresh fruit and vegetables at a farmer's market in Santa Monica.

Satyana was happy to help out with the selection process, sampling some of the couple's purchases as they strolled around in the Californian sun.
