New man, new beauty award: Jennifer Aniston's still got it after a decade of hotness

07 JUNE 2011

Many things improve with age. And Jennifer Aniston can definitely include herself on that list.

At 42, the former 'Friend' looks better than ever – and while her career is still flourishing, she's also been linked to a new man.

Jennifer showed off her enviable figure in a LBD as she was presented with the 'Decade of Hotness' award at the Spike TV Awards on Saturday night.

That evening she stepped out solo, but the following night she was the talk of the MTV Awards after being seen with Justin Theroux,  an actor, and up and coming screenwriter.

The actress' rep has insisted they're just good friends, but sources say the pair have been dating for the past few weeks.

Jen and Justin apparently got friendly on the set of their film Wanderlust, which they filmed in the autumn.

The actress does have a history of falling for her leading men – she was linked to Vince Vaughn and Gerard Butler – but Justin is different.

Rather than having conventional leading man looks, he is darker and more brooding.

He has cool Indie roots, being part of the Theroux clan – as the nephew of the travel writer and novelist Paul Theroux, and the cousin of quirky TV presenter Louis, famous for his compelling documentaries.

He cut his teeth as an actor with small parts in shows like Sex and the City and Six Feet Under, and he also appeared in Romie and Michelle's High school Reunion with Jen's Friends colleague Lisa Kudrow.

Part of the draw is surely his sense of humour. Justin co-wrote acclaimed comedy hit Tropic Thunder - a gig which led Robert Downey Jr to recommend him for the job as screenwriter for Iron Man 2.

Whether the pairing turns out to be anything serious remains to be seen.

While sources say Jen is "really happy" and "having a really good time" there are other reports saying Justin is still seeing his longtime girlfriend, stylist Heidi Bivens.
