Biker boss Paris Hilton puts the vroom into motor racing

When the 30-year-old announced the launch of her MotoGP team SuperMartxe VIP by Paris Hilton, last December little did she know that her Spanish driver Maverick Vinales would win the final race and come up third overall in the 125cc world championship.

The socialite was in Valencia, Spain, this weekend for the final event of the season and went wild with excitement on Twitter as she watched her team take the trophy. "OMG!!! My Paris Hilton Racing Team Rider Maverick Vinales just won First Place in the #Motogp Grand Prix Finals! #YESSSS!!!!! So exciting!" she tweeted.

The star was at the trackside supporting her racer and shared her delight with fans in a series of tweets and even posted a photograph of herself posing with the race trophy.

So happy and proud of my team!"Paris also used her appearance to pay tribute to Italian racer Marco Simoncelli, who was killed in an accident during the Malaysian Grand Prix last month.The star wore a white and pink jacket with Simoncelli's number embroidered in glitter on the front and also presented his family with a special oil painting.

"In honour of The MotoGP legend Marco Simoncelli, I am wearing his (number) 58. You are in all our hearts & minds," she added.
