Forget pass-the-parcel and a slice of cake. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon threw a children’s party with a difference when they celebrated their twins’ first birthday in Paris last month.
The couple have now shared personal snaps taken from inside the lavish event, which was held in a hotel suite in the French capital.
The pictures show Monroe and Moroccan celebrating in style, surrounded by gifts including a toy Ferrari, a rocking horse, and a doll's house.
Monroe was also given a miniature white piano – a nod to the one owned by her mother which first belonged to her namesake Marilyn Monroe.
The tots were impeccably dressed for the party; Moroccan in black tie and his sister in a white floral party dress with a tiny bow in her hair.
The family were in Paris to commemorate Mariah and Nick’s fourth wedding anniversary on April 30 – also the twins’ birthday. This year the smitten couple chose to renew their vows in front of the Eiffel Tower.
