Anna Paquin takes her twins for a sunny stroll around California

04 FEBRUARY 2013

Strolling down Abbott Kinney Boulevard in her hometown Venice, California, actress Anna Paquin celebrated her new motherhood by taking her twins out for a trip near the sunny beach side.

Making a perfect family unit with her True Blood co-star, Anna dined with her family before they all hit the streets for some fresh air.

The X-Men actress, who gave birth to her twins in September, went incognito for the family outing with her fraternal twins, husband Stephen Moyer and 10-year-old step-daughter Lilac.

Seen wearing purple sunglasses and a printed black maxi skirt for the outing, the actress discreetly covered her newborns with a vibrantly printed blanket.

It seems that the New Zealander is keeping the newborns under wraps in more ways than one. The star has not yet revealed the names of her delightful duo, and remained tight-lipped about the details of her pregnancy. Her husband Stephen, however, couldn't wait to express his joy about the exciting news.

Stephen, who is father to two children from a previous relationship, said, "I love my kids so much. And I think that the fact that Anna is pregnant just adds more crazy to the bundle of fun."

Anna married her True Blood co-star Stephen in Malibu in 2010. Since then, the pair have had to juggle a hectic filming schedule, and will begin filming the sixth series of the hit vampire series in June.

Taking 2013 at the helm, The Oscar-winning actress is set to reprise her role as Rogue in X-Men: Days Of Future Past as well as starring in Black Wings Has My Angel alongside Lord Of The Rings star Elijah Wood and The Avengers star Tom Hiddleston.
