Keira Knightley to wed musician beau in France this weekend

30 APRIL 2013

Keira Knightley is set to wed in a romantic ceremony in the south of France this weekend, according to reports.

Just a year after announcing her engagement, the Jack Ryan actress and her rockstar fiancé James Righton are planning to tie the knot in a private affair in Provence, in front of just 100 friends and family. The actress is expected to wear a custom-made Chanel gown designed by Karl Lagerfeld.

The English rose and her Klaxons keyboard player beau have been keeping the wedding plans close to their chest. "It's all been a massively covert operation," a source told The Daily Mirror. "Her friends and family were only told recently about the ceremony.

"They've all been told not to travel in big groups, to arrive separately and to all spread out where they're staying so as not to draw attention to the wedding party."

Earlier this month Keira, 28, said: "We're not big wedding types. I don't need to have all that, I'm just trying to enjoy the engagement bit."

Keira is likely to have a lavish dress for her big day, especially if it is one of fashion maestro Karl Lagerfeld's creations.

The couple have reportedly chosen the south of France for the intimate ceremony, close to their £1.9million holiday home where they often take time out together.

James, 29, popped the question to the Anna Karenina actress last May after more than a year together. The couple were introduced by mutual friend, fashionista Alexa Chung following the actress' five-year relationship with her Pride and Prejudice co-star Rupert Friend.

Keira, who is the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, has another reason to be over the moon – she was featured in this year's Sunday Times Rich List which stated she is worth £30million.
