'I'm engaged!' Miley Cyrus denies rumours of romance with Justin Bieber

13 JUNE 2013

Miley Cyrus has denied rumours of a budding romance with Justin Bieber after the pair were spotted together at a club in Los Angeles.

Miley, 20, was seen at LA hotspot Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel on the weekend with Justin, who she has known for years. Onlookers told TMZ that the pair partied together on Saturday night before leaving at around 2am.

Since then Miley has denied speculation that there was any romance between her and the Call Me Maybe singer.

"I'm engaged! I'm engaged. That is impossible," said Miley in a morning interview on Washington DC radio programme The Kane Show.

Her Australian fiancé Liam also made a public move recently to show that the two are still very much a couple.

The Hunger Games actor recently joined the Twitterverse this week sending out his first two tweets – a quick hello to fans and a promotional message from 'Team Liam'.

The star, 23, also began following 13 people, including Miley.

Liam's decision to join Twitter not only suggests all is well in the Hemsworth-Cyrus household, but also indicates a change of heart for the Australian. He has not always been a fan of the microblogging site and encouraged Miley to delete her own account in 2009.

Liam and Miley first met on the set of their film The Last Song in 2009. He popped the question with a 3.5 carat Neil Lane engagement ring last June.

Fans have been kept guessing as to whether the attractive couple are still together. Miley has appeared with her 3.5-carat sparkler firmly on her wedding finger, and at other times her finger has been noticeably bare.
