She's back! New mum Rochelle Humes back with The Saturdays for a royal encounter

Almost a month to the day after she welcomed her baby girl, Rochelle Humes was back with her bandmates as The Saturdays reunited for a very special event. The five-piece were in Solihull on Friday to open a new Marie Curie hospice, an honour made all the more meaningful given that the pop stars laid the very first bricks when construction began in October 2011.

Rochelle, who is married to JLS star Marvin Humes, clearly enjoyed her first official day back at work with The Saturdays, who are known for their frequent charity work. She showed off a fabulous post-pregnancy figure wearing a chic black dress in a photo shared by the official Marie Curie Twitter account. "It is such an honour to be part of such a special day and amazing to see how fantastic the hospice looks and we are all very proud to be ambassadors for Marie Curie," she said. As well as celebrating the opening, The Saturdays spent time with Prince Charles. No doubt the hot topic of conversation was the impending arrival of the royal's first grandchild.Prince William and Kate Middleton are due to welcome their baby in the next few weeks, and the Saturdays 'mums', Rochelle, HELLO! She is a proud mama to beautiful little Aoife Belle, who she welcomed into the world in March 2012 with her rugby star husband Ben Foden.

The fun fivesome looked to be having a ball as they met the Prince of Wales at the opening of a brand new Marie Curie Hospice Centre in Solihull, West Midlands on Friday. They were also joined by Una's husband, rugby player Ben Foden.  The ever-glamorous Saturdays worked a daytime chic look in pretty floral dresses and vibrant summery colours. Frankie Sandford, who is expecting a baby with footballer Wayne Bridge, proudly showed off her blossoming bump in a fitted teal blue dress. Despite being a girl band at the top of their game, having enjoyed their first number one single with What About Us earlier this year, they were still excited to be mingling with royalty. The singers took to Twitter to express their excitement. "Today I met Prince Charles....just another day at the office..." tweeted 24-year-old Rochelle. Una tweeted, "Amazing morning at the official opening of the @mariecurieuk hospice centre in Solihull with HRH Prince Charles." "Thank you so much for having us @mariecurieuk," wrote Mollie. "It was such a special day! One to remember :-) xxx" The new Marie Curie unit provides free expert care for people with terminal illnesses, and will care for more than 2,000 people each year. The Saturdays have been long-time supporters of the £20 million project and were on hand when the first bricks were laid. The Saturdays and Prince Charles met patients and staff during their visit and were given a tour of the facilities. The grandfather-to-be also gave a speech and unveiled an official plaque to celebrate the opening.Read Una Healy's blog
