"I think you should be James Bond! He'd be a good James Bond!"

David, however, didn't appear to share the same confidence in his big screen chances as his wife.

"I have some friends who are actors, Tom Cruise is a very good friends of ours," he said. "But I don't think I have any plans to become an actor. I'm not sure I'd be very good at it!"

"David and the children will always be my priority," she said. "Everything that I do revolves around David and the children.

"As any working mum knows, it's huge juggling act," she added. "But absolutely – they inspire me every day, every single day David and the children inspire me. I'm very lucky, I'm very blessed and I'm a very lucky lady."

Earlier this week, David poked fun at Victoria's reputation of looking serious, cheekily posting a close-up of his wife lying down and laughing with the caption, "See I told you she smiles!"

They made an appearance on a Chinese talk show, and even tried their hand at a bit of presenting before sitting down to chat with their host.

The former Spice Girl arrived in China on Saturday, and received a warm welcome from her local supporters. "Thank u to my amazing fans here in Beijing, what a welcome!!," she wrote on Twitter.
