Elizabeth Hurley heals broken heart on holiday with Hugh Grant

07 JANUARY 2014 As she comes to terms with the end of her engagement, Elizabeth Hurley is being supported by her two favourite guys, son Damian and ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant.

The beautiful brunette, 48, has been consoling herself following the end of her romance with former fiancé Shane Warne by enjoying a fun-filled skiing holiday with her 11-year-old Damian and best friend Hugh.

The trip have been pictured holidaying together in the Alps, spending time with friends, enjoying evenings out and, of course, hitting the slopes.

Not that the break has been without incident. Elizabeth has been keeping her fans on Twitter and Instagram up to date with her snowy adventures, including one funny episode following adverse weather.

"Yes, our car got stuck tonight and yes, I had to be ignominiously pulled on a child's sledge. In heels and a dress," she revealed. "Good night from the depths of a blizzard in Switzerland."

Elizabeth and Hugh, 53 have remained famously close since the end of their relationship in 2000, and the actor is often seen accompanying his ex and her son on holiday, on days out or out for dinner.

Elizabeth welcomed Damian, her son with businessman Steve Bing, just a year after her split from Hugh.

It has been a difficult year for the model, following the end of her relationship with former Australia cricketer Shane. But she is doing her best to maintain a positive outlook in 2014.

Tweeting her best wishes to fans on New Years Eve, Elizabeth posted a funny Instagram snap showing her wearing comedy glasses, with the simple caption, "Let's make it a good one… #2014."
