David Beckham goes casual at Miami basketball game following Met Gala 2014

07 MAY 2014

Victoria and David Beckham spent Monday evening dressed up to the nines as they attended the Met Gala 2014 in New York City.

But by Tuesday the former Spice Girl and soccer player were back to being casual as they returned to life off the red carpet. David and his 40-year-old wife were spotted leaving the Mark Hotel in the Big Apple separately in attire which somehow co-ordinated with a hint of neon green.

The sportsman and model boasted the hue on his trainers – which he wore with a leather jacket, Adidas cap and jeans - while the fashion designer donned a stripy green top and colourful bars crossing the fabric horizontally.

Later that day, David – who has four children with Victoria Beckham – was spotted in Miami, Florida watching an NBA basketball playoff at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Showing off his tattooed sleeves, the 39-year-old was much more dressed down than when he was styled in a white suit jacket and black bowtie at the Met Ball. Evoking memories of years gone when the duo stepped out in matching his and hers outfits, Victoria and David rocked the red carpet for this year's "White Tie and Decorations" theme of the fashionable charity event.

Victoria looked sensational in a white strapless column dress by her eponymous label, Victoria Beckham – for Victoria Beckham fans, unfortunately the dress is not for sale. She completed her glam look with a pair of Casadei blade heels, diamond drop earrings and a matching bracelet and ring.

The pair worked the red carpet as they effortlessly made their way to the Metropolitan Museum Of Art, holding hands and posing for the cameras as they went.
