Tamara Ecclestone gets tattoo done in honour of baby Sophia

Tamara Ecclestone has had a tattoo done in honour of her baby daughter Sophia. The new mum, 29, revealed her latest inking of an "S" in a couple of photos on Instagram, much to the excitement of her 17,000 followers. As Tamara is no stranger to body art, the first snap showed the brunette beauty looking as tough as nails as she sat in the tattoo parlour. Gazing straight ahead of her, the Formula 1 heiress showed no signs of pain as the tattoo artist set to work. "For my love S," Tamara wrote alongside the photo.

She then followed it up with a close-up image of the finished product – the small letter still looking a little raw and etched onto her hand. In the heart-warming photo, which Tamara captioned "Crazy in love", baby Sophia's hand is seen clutching onto her mother's. The inking comes just days after Tamara flashed her tattoo dedicated to her husband and former City trader Jay Rutland. The body art in question reads "JR I Love You" and had previously been kept hidden under Tamara's thick, brunette locks, until she stepped out to an event last week wearing her hair scooped up. It is thought that Tamara had the tattoo done last year.

Tamara and Jay, who welcomed baby Sophia in March, met in January of last year after being introduced by friends. The couple had only been together for a month when they announced their engagement. Last summer, Tamara and Jay tied the knot in a simple registry office ceremony and also celebrated with a star-studded bash on the French Riviera. "When I met Jay, I knew this was the man I was going to marry," Tamara has previously told HELLO! magazine. "I've never been in a relationship before where I've been able to be myself and feel so comfortable so quickly. When you find true love, why wait?"

The new family live in their West London home, where Tamara and Jay had a lavish nursery built for their little darling. The room holds a circular white crib shipped over especially from Los Angeles and embroidered cushions featuring the name 'Sophia', all placed under a ceiling painted to look like the sky. "Motherhood is the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I'm enjoying every minute of it," Tamara told HELLO! magazine. "I knew I would love it — I just didn't know how much. "I feel born to be a mother. Although I've always wanted children, I've never felt that intensely before. But Sophia has turned my world upside down in an amazing way and I've never been happier. Having my own family with Jay is just perfect."
