Jennifer Lopez turns back time in the Bronx - amid reports her romance with Casper Smart is on the rocks

05 JUNE 2014

Jennifer Lopez went back to her roots this week and performed her first ever hometown concert in the Bronx.

The 44-year-old, who made fashion history with the plunging green chiffon Versace dress at the 2000 Grammys, rocked a leotard version of the ensemble as she performed for the sell-out crowd.

The original dress is considered to be one of the most iconic gowns of the last few decades, and 14 years on Jennifer looked just as stunning in the sexy adaptation.

Later on, the mum-of-two changed into a short white-and-gold playsuit that showcased her enviable figure.

Among those enjoying the free concert at Pelham Bay Park was Khloé Kardashian. The reality star was pictured backstage with her boyfriend French Montana - who was one of Jennifer's guest rappers along with Fat Joe. The Kardashian sister later hung out with Jennifer and her crew at their afterparty.

Noticeably absent on the night was the singer's boyfriend Casper Smart.

In the last week, the couple have hit the headlines amid allegations that Casper has been sending messages and photos to a transsexual bikini model.

A friend told People that Jennifer and Casper, 27, had "hit a rough patch" a few months ago. "Now, all this stuff comes out... They're still together, technically, but no idea for how long."

In the meantime, the star is trying to positive and focus on work. "She is excited about where her life is right now," the insider added. "Her new single (First Love) is on fire, and her album is about to drop, and she has movies and hit TV shows that she is producing.

"She couldn't be in better shape professionally. Personally, it's a bit more tricky."
