"I'm excited. The star is right here outside where I got to host the Oscars and if the movie gets nominated, it'll be nice to get up there and show a little bit of the show to everybody. "Later on, Hugh joked about planning for December 13, 2012 for years: "It was about 29 years ago and I said, 'This is the way it's going to work,' and I signed a deal - I won't tell you who it was with."

The actor also jokingly revealed he plans to turn his new achievement into a therapy place for his kids when they get older, explaining: "Ten years from now when they're remembering all the things I did wrong, it's going to save a fortune in therapy - they can come here, graffiti it, stomp on it, spill their soda on it, whatever."

Hugh's Golden Globe nomination comes a day after receiving a nod for Best Male Actor for portraying Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. After learning of Hugh's nomination for the awards, director Tom Hooper praised the star and revealed he was "very proud"."I'm just pleased for the whole team who made Les Miserables," said Tom on the phone to the BBC. "I'm so proud. Hugh Jackman carries this film, from the start to the end, on his shoulders - at times like Jean Valjean, the hero he plays," explained the famed Director. "What I think is exciting people when they see it, is that when Hugh acts through singing, he's got some kind of access to an emotional part of himself that they have never seen on screen before. Maybe it's a physical thing. You have to engage your whole body to sing."
