The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in the Eastwood family – as the latest photos of Clint's son Scott Eastwood prove.Budding actor Scott, 27, smouldered in the 1960s maritime-themed photoshoot and spoke of his hopes to follow in his father's footsteps. "I want to be a man's man—not a kid actor or a glitzy pop star," he told Town and Country magazine.

He insisted that his family connections hadn't helped him on his quest to become a film star and that he'd worked hard to get where he is today. "People assumed that I would have everything handed to me, but that couldn't be further from the truth," the California-born actor said. That's not to say he hasn't learnt from his Dirty Harry star father, who has been in the industry since the 1950s. "As a director and an actor, my dad's motto is 'Tell the truth.' The only way of doing that is having life experiences and being a storyteller," he added. It seems Scott's hard grafting has been paying off. He landed a role alongside Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf and in Fury, which began filming this month. He will also appear in upcoming flick The Perfect Wave, playing a surfer searching for the ideal swell.

Scott's father Clint recently separated from his wife of 17 years, Dina Eastwood. The four times Oscar-winning actor, 83, is said to remain close to his wife, but the two have been living apart for quite some time – they have not been pictured publicly together since 2011 and, according to a source, the two actually split in June 2012.The twice-married Million Dollar Baby actor first wed Maggie Johnson in 1953. The couple had a daughter, Alison, and a son, Kyle together. Clint has five more children from other relationships including Scott whose mother is Jacelyn Reeves.
