THE TRENDSETTING TRESSES OF NAOMI CAMPBELL

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is a chameleon on the catwalk, and she doesn’t shy away from head-turning new styles when she’s off duty either. The 5ft 10in beauty showed off a brand new hairstyle at Cannes last week, sporting a super shiny fringed "do" that even Cleopatra would envy.

She seems to change her crowning glory almost on a weekly basis, but how does she do it? Most importantly, she takes excellent care of her locks – a good role model for all non-supermodels, too – and freely uses wigs and trendy extensions in an array of tones. Naomi has experimented with every shade from golden blonde to raven black, and has played with texture, too, taking her tresses from silky straight to ravishingly curly and back again.

“Naomi’s hair is interesting because it’s all pieces and weaves and she doesn’t make a secret of it,” says New York-based celebrity hairstylist Ian Denson. “But you really can’t tell because she goes to a lot of effort to look after it well.”

The model’s changing image inspires women of all skin tones to copy her glamorous hairstyles, whether it’s a cascade of curls or a blunt-cut bob. For a detailed review of the fashion icon's style check out our gallery of her most fabulous looks.CLICK HERE FOR OUR PROFILE ON NAOMI
