Supermodel reunion as Linda and Cindy join Naomi at LA fashion do

They ruled the runways in the Nineties when Canadian-born covergirl Linda Evangelista famously declared they "didn't wake up for less-than $10,000" - and they still have the grace and presence that leave models half their age in the shade. Three of the biggest names from the supermodel era put in a glam appearance on the red carpet as Linda joined her catwalk contemporaries Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell at a glitzy LA fashion gala.

The trio had come together for the star-studded party, hosted by French fashion house Louis Vuitton, to celebrate an exhibition of the works of internationally-acclaimed Japanese pop culture artist Takashi Murakami.

Takashi's links with the French fashion house began five years ago when he worked with the label's artistic director Marc Jacobs – honoured with a career award on the night – on a range of rainbow-coloured handbags and accessories in 2003.

Also turning up to see a performance by rapper Kayne West and take a peek of the 90 works on display was Monster actress Christina Ricci, who delivered bombshell glamour in a black satin gown and sleek, bobbed 'do.

She rubbed shoulders on the night with Canadian sing KD Lang, Brothers And Sisters actress Rachel Griffiths and burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese. All of whom were among the guests at the party in Los Angeles' Museum of Contemporary Art, which is hosting the exhibition.
