New Zealand-born cover girl Rachel Hunter had a very special photo shoot lined up when she headed Down Under this week. The Make Me A Supermodel host got in front of the cameras with little Denis Whitley at a Sydney children's hospital, much to the youngster's delight. Rod Stewart's ex-wife bonded instantly with the excited three-year-old, who was thrilled to receive a Polaroid memento of his meeting with the bubbly blonde.

The Kiwi beauty, who clearly has a natural touch with youngsters, says that devoting time to children's charities is one of her passions. "I've done quite a bit of work over in the States as well with children's hospitals," she said. "It's something that's very close and personal to me as well, having two kids myself."

US-based Rachel, who was also in town to preview her new Lola swimwear range, later hosted a St Tropez beach party-themed event to raise funds for new hospital equipment.
