Self confessed "eccentric dresser" Eva Green has earned something of a reputation for her unusual red carpet choices. And in Beijing for the opening of a new exhibition the 28-year-old Casino Royale star didn't disappoint, turning up in a show-stopping lime-green affair.

The French actress' vibrant organza, which featured blue bead appliqué at the neckline and sheer sleeves falling loosely around her slender arms, was a bold choice. And one the beautiful brunette pulled off with considerable aplomb as she attended the Christian Dior And Chinese Artists exhibition.

Also making the trip out East to help launch the show, which comprised of over 20 specially commissioned works by leading Chinese artists displayed alongside the Christian Dior creations which inspired them, was Marion Cotillard and J'Adore face Charlize Theron.

The South-African actress – who is being formally inducted as a UN messenger of peace in New York on Monday – was beautiful in a floor-length strapless gold gown as she arrived on the arm of Dior's current head designer, John Galliano.
