Yorkshire is not usually a place you'd associate with glamorous stars, but it seems the town of Headingly may soon be playing host to one of the hottest weddings of the year, when Liv Tyler marries her fiancé Royston Langdon.

The American actress has been dating the Spacehogs frontman for three years and says that she's also fallen for his hometown of Leeds. "I love the Roman ruins and the rolling hills," she said recently. "It is so beautiful. I've also become a big fan of Yorkshire pudding."

"We're really looking forward to the big day," said Royston's father Chester. "Liv and Roy really enjoy each other's company and we enjoy theirs."

"Liv really likes Leeds," he added. "She's a really lovely lass. The last time we were all together was in Paris for the premiere of The Two Towers and they were in great spirits. It's going to be a great occasion."

The 25-year-old has also been house-hunting in Yorkshire, prompting rumours that the couple may want to settle there.
