New York is buzzing with reports that Nicole Kidman has become secretly engaged to rock star Lenny Kravitz.
The two have been spotted out and about together several times over the summer, and Nicole has been living in Lenny's apartment while work is carried out on her own home nearby.
They have so far denied any romantic involvement, however, and the living arrangements are said to be on a business footing, with Nicole paying £25,000 a month to stay at the Manhattan pad.
And though a friend of Lenny's has hinted that they have become engaged, Nicole's publicist says that, "As far as I know, they are just friends".
Since her 2001 split and subsequent divorce from Tom Cruise, Nicole, 37, has thrown herself into her work, though she has said she would marry again "in a heartbeat" if the right man came along.
Lenny, 39, is also a divorcé. He has one daughter from his marriage to Lisa Bonet, and was most recently dating Brazilian model Adriana Lima.
