Guy Ritchie got some glamorous moral support from his wife Madonna when he presented his new movie in London on Tuesday. The 37-year-old director arrived for the UK premiere of Revolver arm-in-arm with his pop star wife, who is still recovering from a nasty riding accident she suffered last month.

The indefatigable singer, who wore a black sequinned Roberto Cavalli tuxedo dress with her arm in a matching sling, was eager to praise her husband's latest flick. "I love it," she enthused. "I think it's a very brave film."
Her leading man seemed to feel she was the more courageous of the two, however. Asked about how his wife had managed since the fall which left her with eight broken bones, he said she hadn't let it slow her down one bit. "There wasn't a lot of taking it easy," he explained. "She was up and running in no time. We went off to France the next day – much against my advice. She's definitely the tough side of the family."
Guy went on to reveal that, despite his love of gangster movies, he's more interested in being a loving father these days. "I was always soft," confessed the filmmaker. "It's impossible not to become interested in kids when you are wrapped around them. (My son) Rocco is like a best mate – he's just what you want."
The A-list couple were joined by Sin City's Mickey Rourke and French actor Jean Reno at the glitzy event. And they will have been especially happy to see their old friends Sting and Trudie Styler, as it was the former Police frontman and his wife who first introduced them.
