There's not much chance of Naomi Watts waking up to a white Christmas, but the actress doesn't appear overly concerned about absence of snow in her hometown of Sydney. Indeed the pretty blonde didn't seem to have a care in the world when she and her boyfriend Liev Schreiber were photographed soaking up the sunshine on Bondi Beach this week.

Keeping cool in a loose white shirt and straw hat, the 37-year-old has earned the right to take some time out from her hectic movie career. Naomi spent the last few weeks travelling around the world to promote her blockbuster King Kong, but on Friday afternoon she was happy to simply chill out by the shore.
Her decision to take a break has done nothing to quell public interest in her, however, and the Tinseltown press is currently awash with reports that she and Liev, who movie fans will recognise from the Scream franchise, are planning to tie the knot.
When journalists asked the 37-year-old about her plans for 2006, the performer said her loved ones would be her number one priority. "I do feel I've made so much room in my life for King Kong - and it has fulfilled me in many ways - but now I want to make room in my life for other things," she explained. "I want to start a family. My private life has suffered, so that sort of makes me clear about what I need." |
