In what is these days a rare sighting, Hollywood's hottest couple, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were the picture of love as they watched the Mission: Impossible actor's daughter play football in LA over the weekend.
Days after their baby girl Suri made her debut as a covergirl on Vanity Fair magazine, the proud parents were on hand to support the efforts of Isabella - Tom's adopted daughter with Nicole Kidman - on the pitch. The celebrity pair held hands and smiled happily during the park outing, apparently putting behind them the stress of what Katie recently referred to as "heartbreaking" media reports.
During an interview with the US magazine, the former Dawson's Creek actress hit out over some hurtful accusations. "It eats away at me because it's just not okay," she said. "This is my family, and I care so much about them. To see how someone as caring and good as Tom is - to see how things can just get so twisted and turned around. I mean, where does it come from?"
Their highly-anticipated nuptials will be the next landmark step in the duo's relationship. The Top Gun star proposed to Katie, who will become his third wife, at the Eiffel tower in June last year during a romantic trip to Paris. They have not, as yet, revealed the date of the big day.
