Dreamy encounter for Clive Owen in New York

British actor Clive Owen found himself sharing the morning with a 'dream girl' when he appeared on the CBS Early Show on Tuesday. The Oscar-nominated actor was giving an interview to promote his movie Children Of Men in the US when he met up with R&B singer Beyonce, who stars in the musical drama Dreamgirls.

The chart-topping diva was looking characteristically ravishing in a figure-hugging leopard print dress. Happily married Clive - who has two daughters, Hannah and Eve, with his wife Sarah-Jane - was unlikely to have been too distracted, however.

Ironically, in his latest movie the British actor plays a confirmed bachelor living in a world where no children can be born. The forecast looks rather more upbeat for the actor in real life, though, as he's looking forward to spending quality time with his loved ones this Christmas. "It's a very lovely, down time with the family," he said. "For me, it's just all about hanging out with them, and the kids have a great time."

Comedian Ben Stiller was also enjoying the fun at the New York studios. And the 41-year-old star, who will be enjoying the festive season with his actress wife Christine and their children Ella and Quinlin, soon had his fellow stars in stitches with his wisecracks.
