After months of baby speculation it's been reported that Angelina Jolie is expecting her first baby with Brad Pitt this summer. According to People magazine website, representatives of both stars have confirmed the news.
"Yes, I'm pregnant," the Hollywood beauty is said to have told a charity worker in the Dominican Republic, where she's currently filming The Good Shepherd with Matt Damon.
The pregnancy is the latest development in a bid by the power couple to cement their family unit. A month ago Brad began legal moves to adopt the Lara Croft star's children, her son Maddox, four, and one-year-old Zahara.
And in a sign of the close bond he has with the kids, the heart-throb was recently pictured collecting Maddox from school before taking him on a shopping expedition to buy water pistols.
Marriage could also be on the cards for the hot pair as legal experts say the process of adoption would be expedited by them taking a trip down the aisle.
Friends say that her deepening relationship with the Ocean's Eleven star has made Angelina happier than ever. "This is a woman who values her relationships with her children more than anything," a source told the website. "Now she is creating a family in the context of an adult relationship."
