Some of Tinseltown's most glamorous stars were glowing as films were launched on both sides of the globe yesterday.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stole the limelight at the New York screening of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. And if the recently Venice Best Actor prize-winner was concerned that his stunning wife was getting more than her share of adulation as she signed autographs for gathered fans, he clearly wasn’t showing it.

The golden couple looked as close as ever, sharing intimate glances and smiles, boosting reports that they’re planning to expand their brood to up to nine children and are looking for an 11-foot bed to fit them all in.

Over in Tokyo, a sultry Catherine Zeta-Jones also delighted fans by stopping to greet the gathered throng at the Japanese launch of romcom No Reservations, in which she plays a career-obsessed Manhattan chef. Although solo on the red carpet, the Welsh siren and her husband Michael Douglas are reportedly planning to shoot a movie in India together. The pair have previously shared the screen in the Oscar-winning drama Traffic.
