This Morning host Phillip Schofield tweeted his excitement at the news
ITV Daytime's managing executive producer Emma Gormley is also excited to have Amanda on board.

Christine Bleakley, who has stepped in for Holly on several occasions, will also be on hand while the 33-year-old is away.
"Hooray! Gorgeous girls @Amanda_Holden and @clbleakley keeping the sofa warm whilst I'm away having a baby," wrote Holly on Twitter. "Enjoy the best job in telly and look after the silver fox for me xxx".
Fellow presenter Ruth also tweeted her enthusiasm about Amanda's appointment.
