“So pleased to announce the arrival of our beautiful baby boy today, and on my husband’s birthday too,” she said in a statement to HELLO! Online. “Big thank you to the wonderful nurses and doctors. Can't describe how beautiful our little baby miracle is.”

Erin left the BBC celebrity contest last year after 10 years, upon discovering she was with child. The New Zealand-born beauty has been documenting pregnancy in her HELLO! Online blog and in her recent post revealed she has been doing what she loves best despite her burgeoning belly.

“As I sit here and type this blog the baby is bouncing around in my tummy, which these days is pretty normal. I have a feeling I am not going to get any sleep it is so active. However I have to say I am very relaxed with what is about to happen to me – giving birth and the sleepless nights but it is all worth it to finally meet our little baby,” she shared.

"Even though I only have a couple of weeks left I am trying to stay as active as I can. I am still going to the gym about 3 – 4 times a week and yes I get very strange looks from some of the gym members. Although I have to admit I do look rather strange in lycra these days!”
