18 AUGUST 2014

Kimberly Wyatt has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.

The TV presenter and former Pussycat Doll, 32, made the revelation in an exclusive interview and photoshoot with HELLO! magazine.

Kimberly discovered she was pregnant while on honeymoon with husband Max Rogers, also 32, in New York in April. Their baby, a girl, is due in December.

One of the first to guess the couple's happy news was Kimberly's former Pussycat Dolls bandmate and best friend, Ashley Roberts.

"Ashley knew straight away," laughed Kimberly. "We are like sisters. Ashley knows everything about me, so she only looked at me and guessed right away. When I told her, it was so emotional – she was thrilled for us, which was lovely."

Announcing her pregnancy in HELLO! Kimberly has kept her bump under wraps up until now, even though – incredibly – she has posed naked for a fitness shoot and resumed her role as a judge on the new series of Sky 1 talent show Got to Dance. Although she said, "I feel like in the last day or two I have literally gone 'pop'."

One of the top ten international male models favoured by Tommy Hilfiger and D&G, Max is delighted to be having a little girl.

"We went for the second scan, at 20 weeks, and they said, ‘You're going to have a daughter,' and then when I felt her kick, it really connected with me – I'm just delighted."

Kimberly, who was born in Missouri, told HELLO! that she planned to make England her home. "I love the life Max and I have built here. England is home for me now," she said. "And there is nothing cuter than having a baby growing up with a British accent."
