Susan Boyle shows Oprah around her West Lothian home

Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle will make her biggest TV appearance yet on Monday when she appears in front of 20 million viewers on the Oprah Winfrey show. But there won't be a repeat performance of I Dreamed A Dream, the song she performed during her audition for the talent show, as its bosses have banned her from singing.

Instead, Susan – who filmed a pre-recorded segment from her West Lothian home earlier this week - will be seen showing Oprah's team around the modest council house she shares with her cat Pebbles.

The camera crew arrived on Tuesday morning, stopping filming briefly in the afternoon, telling fans outside that Susan was "having a nap".

Later they mocked-up a scene where Susan ushers them inside away from the paparazzi to offer them tea and Scottish cakes.

The 48-year-old church worker is the star guest on a special show featuring new acts from 40 countries where versions of Britian's Got Talent is filmed. The show's creator, Simon Cowell, will also be on Oprah's sofa to explain why the show has such worldwide appeal.
