Lucy-Jo Hudson

Leeds-born actress Lucy-Jo Hudson's TV career got off to a flying start when she landed the role of Katy Harris in Coronation Street in 2002. The former professional dancer was soon the centre of one of the show's most talked-about plotlines after her liaison with a male nurse 20 years her senior set off a chain of events that resulted in her murdering her on-screen father and ending her own life in prison. While working on the soap Lucy-Jo began dating cast mate Alan Halsall - aka mechanic Tyrone Dobbs and in 2008 the pair became engaged. They'd kept their relationship going despite being separated for months at a time after Katy left 'the Street' in 2006 and joined safari drama Wild At Heart, which had her working on location in South Africa.
