One would think that a fireman would get enough excitement just by doing his job, but Hollyoaks" hunk Ben, played by Marcus Patric, seems hell-bent on courting disaster in his personal life too. The character has indulged in affairs with not a few of his neighbours, but he reserves his true affections for baby son Arthur. It's something of an irony that Marcus has wound up playing one of the popular series' central roles, as he almost quit acting to become a footballer.
