Famous for: That kiss with Anna Friel on Brookside, and playing Robson Green's wife in City Lights
Nicola came storming into the nation's consciousness in 1993 when she shared a controversial and much-talked-about kiss with Brookside co-star Anna Friel. Since then the Oldham-born actress has starred in a host of well-loved TV dramas, including The Chase and Clocking Off - for which she qualified as a forklift truck driver. One of the original members of the Holby City team, Nicola remains firm friends with co-stars Angela Griffin and Lisa Faulkner, and has starred alongside Robson Green in Manchester drama Northern Lights as well as the London sequel City Lights.
