Famous for: His drawing skills and endearing on-screen persona
Australia-born Rolf arrived in London in the early 1950s to study art, but he was soon drawn to the world of TV, putting his creative skills to use on the small screen in Rolf's Cartoon Club and the long-running Rolf Harris Show. His charismatic screen presence enabled him to translate his success to other formats, such as Animal Hospital, a stint which lasted for nearly a decade.
