Romola Garai her unusual name is the female version of the Italian moniker Romulus was cast to play the young Judi Dench in ITV drama The Last Of The Blonde Bombshells after being spotted in a school play. Quickly making a name for herself in period pieces such as Daniel Deronda , Vanity Fair and The Incredible Journey Of Mary Bryant, the actress effortlessly mixes TV with film, diversifying her period roles with low-budget hit Inside I'm Dancing. Romola, who grew up in Singapore and Hong Kong, won rave reviews as Cassandra Mortmain in 1930s rite-of-passage flick I Capture The Castle.
