Chris Bisson

Chris, whose parents hail from the West Indies, first appeared on UK TV screens while still a teenager in the soap Children's Ward in 1990. Nine years later his big break came when he landed the part of Vikram Desai in Coronation Street. Although the actor admits to being shy something which came across when he participated in 2003's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here his reserved style hasn't affected his ability to create memorable characters both on stage and screen, however. Other TV parts include Kash in the hit series Shameless, plus guest stints in Where The Heart Is and 2006's New Street Law, while on the big screen Chris has also starred in the Bafta-winning East Is East and Chicken Tikka Masala.
