Ian Aspinall has done for British doctors what George Clooney did for their American counterparts. Movie fans may also recognise the chisel-jawed actor from indie hit East Is East, but it was on the wards of Holby City that he really made an impression – settings heart aflutter among both patients and his fellow workers. The Lancashire-born actor has also appeared in the mini-series Invasion Earth and the big screen thriller Killing Me Softly.
