Laila Rouass

Born in London to a Moroccan father and Indian mother, Laila Rouass found fame after presenting MTV Asia and hosting the Indian version of Blind Date in Mumbai. After six years in India the aspiring actress returned to Britain where she picked up roles in long-running soaps Casualty, Family Affairs and Hollyoaks. She was still playing cop Dale Jackson on Hollyoaks when the call came through that she'd won the part of bisexual stunner Amber Gates in Footballers' Wives.
