Famous for: Shooting to fame in teen horror flick The Hole
Considering his impressive thespian pedigree it's hardly surprising Laurence Fox embarked on a career in theatre. The RADA-trained actor is the son of screen veteran James Fox, and cousin of Silent Witness star Emilia Fox. His first professional job was a part in 2001 horror thrillerThe Hole, the same film in which Keira Knightly debuted in a major role. Since then he"s notched up a series of big screen appearances, including The Last Drop with Billy Zane and Becoming Jane, based on the early life of author Jane Austen. He"s enjoyed equal success on the small screen, playing Prince Charles in TV drama Whatever Love Means and starring in the Inspector Morse spin-off Lewis. In 2007 the actor also appeared in the West End production Treats opposite Billie Piper, who became his girlfriend after the pair met during rehearsals for the show.
