Nicola Duffett's Family Affairs' character, the long-suffering Cat, seems to be a magnet for misfortune. The actress was accustomed to tackling the ups and downs of soap opera life long before she joined the series, however, having enjoyed a two-year stint as the put-upon Debbie Tyler in EastEnders. Her big screen credits include Shooting Fish, Mad Dogs And Englishmen and the Ralph Fiennes drama Spider.
