Famous for: Playing Mike Baldwin's trouble-making son Mark in Coronation Street

Cornwall-born actor Paul Fox scored his first professional job aged 16, while he was studying for a B.Tech in performing arts at the West Cheshire College on the Wirral. A passing casting director spotted his talents and offered him a role in BBC school-set drama Hearts And Minds. He went on to land a part in Emmerdale, before winning the role that would bring him to widescale attention - playing Mark Redman in Coronation Street. He crossed over into medical drama in 2003 when he started a three-year run on BBC series The Royal, then followed this up by joining the cast of long-running hospital drama Casualty in 2008. In 2003-4 Paul spent ten months across the Pond filming sci-fi series Starhunter in Toronto, while he made his big-screen debut back in 1998 in Cate Blanchett film Elizabeth
