The self-styled "fat bloke from Reading", is a rather more interesting chap than his on-screen character David Brent. His greatest success has come with the hit comedy series The Office, which took home two gongs at the 2004 Golden Globes. In the course of a varied career, the self-effacing performer has also been a stand-up comic, a pizza delivery man, a radio DJ and the manager of rock band Suede.
