Terry Crews and his wife Rebecca King-Crews are jetting off around the world!
The couple shared a glimpse of their quick trip to Monaco for the Grand Prix, which began on Sunday, June 7, with Terry, 57, posting a sneak peek at how they got there.
"New adventure loading! Love traveling this beautiful planet with the equally beautiful @rebeccakingcrews!!" the America's Got Talent host wrote alongside a pair of snapshots of himself and Rebecca, 60, clinking their champagne flutes aboard a private jet.
He did quickly clarify: "(These are MOCKTAILS btw!)" with a crying-laughing emoji in his caption. While fans fawned over the adorable couple, Rebecca candidly explained why the couple opted for the luxurious (and very extravagant) mode of transport.
"Thank you, my sweet husband for caring for my needs," the fashion entrepreneur wrote. "Y'all don't know the airlines canceled our flight and we would've had to get up at 2 in the morning, drive an hour to get on a flight from another airport, make that flight and then drive another hour."
"All while they put Mr. Crews in a good seat on a good flight, I would've had to go and do this lengthy drama thing in another country," she continued, noting in particular that her struggles with her health would've made it worse.
"And you all know about my health issue," Rebecca noted. The pair revealed in April that Rebecca had been quietly dealing with Parkinson's disease for over a decade. "Thank you my sweet husband for caring enough about my health to just fix the problem yourself… you are more than words can say. I love you and appreciate you."
The couple, who have been married since 1989 and share five children, appeared on NBC's TODAY on April 6 to publicly disclose Rebecca's Parkinson's diagnosis, which she first received in 2015.
They explained to host Craig Melvin that they were choosing now to go public with it after Rebecca had received a new FDA-approved surgery that has helped her improve mobility on one side of her body, saying that she can now write briefly with her right hand for the first time in three years.
"I feel good," she confirmed. "I'm seeing improvement in my symptoms. I'm still in recovery, it takes about three months of recovery. So as you recover, you see more improvement." The news anchor shared that she'll have a second treatment in September to deal with symptoms on the other side of her body.
"I'm still figuring it out, to be honest," Rebecca continued, noting that an improvement on one side versus the other has made her feel "more aware" of each side of her body, which has proved slightly disorienting.
"However, each day that I do things, I'm aware of the benefit that's already [been given] to me on the left side of my body," Rebecca added. Terry got emotional looking back on his wife's struggles, ending with: "This is the battle that we were designed to fight together."
