Shilpa – who was born in Southern India – is a well-known star of the Indian silver screen. As well as mesmerising audiences with her unconventional looks – in addition to her unusually coloured eyes she's also, at 5ft10in, one of Bollywood's tallest stars – she's a black belt in karate. In January 2007 she became the first Indian and Bollywood star to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house. She went on to win the reality show after gaining 63 per cent of the public vote ahead of fellow contestant Jermaine Jackson.
