Sue Johnston

A former tax inspector, Sue began her career on Brookside, where she played Sheila Grant Corkhill for nearly a decade. Later, she would spend four years in the TV drama Medics and win legions of fans with her comedic turn as mum Barbara in The Royle Family. She went on to star as Dr Grace Foley in "cold-case" drama Waking The Dead.
